UJA Parents,
Power was restored last night and we look forward to seeing students in the morning!
Rick Nelson

UJA Parents,
As of 8:40 this Sunday evening we have no power on campus. If power is not restored by 6:30 AM I will send a notification out that we will not have school on Monday. If power is restored before then I will notify you all that school will be in session. Thank you for your understanding.

This Saturday, January 27 we are inviting and hoping you and your child can make it to the Ukiah Seventh-day Adventist church! Our high school students are leading out the entire church service!
The 3rd - 10th grade choir has been practicing a few songs for the church service and we are hoping that they will be able to attend and sing!
I am sending a paper home with your 3rd - 10th grade students with information on where and when!
We can't wait to see you all there!

Tomorrow's Spirit Day is "Anything But a Backpack" day. Other than the creative alternative to a backpack, it is a regular school uniform day. Sorry for any confusion.

Good evening UJA Parents!
I just wanted to let you all know that tomorrow's hot lunch is Mac & Cheese, garlic bread, veggie sticks, and a drink!
There is vegan mac & cheese available as well!
Enjoy and we look forward to seeing you all in the morning!
Happy Tuesday!

Book Reminder! Since we have been on break so long, this is just a reminder to send your child's library books back with them for library day tomorrow!

UJA Parents,
Four of our faculty and staff have Covid. Another of us has Covid in the home. We have no one to be in the office. Who knows if more of us may symptom free or contagious before getting sick. We don't have enough subs to fill the empty spaces. I don't want to be responsible for getting more people sick for the Christmas Holiday. I know this is a huge inconvenience, but it seems the better part of wisdom to cancel school for the rest of the week. We look forward to seeing you all healthy and rested when school resumes January 8.

UJA Parents,
Our septic tank is being pumped and water is already flowing so all is on schedule for a return to normal tomorrow. Bathrooms will be cleaned this afternoon! See you all tomorrow.
Thank you for picking up your children quickly.
Rick Nelson

UJA Parents,
We are experiencing a failure in our septic system and it is currently backed up. We need to ask that your children be picked up as soon as possible as we can no longer flush our toilets or use water at the moment. So sorry for the inconvenience!

Good afternoon Grades 1 - 10 parents! For those of you who missed the email,
After some discussion we realized that setting appointed times for Parent Teachers Conferences will be better for our conferences this quarter. Please follow the directions in the link below to make your appointment with your child’s teacher.

Power is back on! School will continue as normal.

UJA Parents,
Power at the school shut off this morning around 7:45. We have been told that power could be back as early as 11:30 this morning or not and be off all day. We will keep you posted. We may be contacting you again to pick up your children if we learn that this power outage will be longer than that.
Thank you for your understanding.
Rick Nelson
