Fall Festival is just around the corner, October 26m Noon-4pm. I need help with two things to make it a success for our class.

1. We need help from every parent to take a time slot. We have two booths. One is the box maze and the other is a variation on the dunk tank. Students will support the parents at the box maze.

2. We have a gift basket at the auction. It is "sports themed" If possible, please bring 1 sports item $15-20 worth. That will be greatly appreciated.

Hello school family! I just finished sending school portraits to everyone whose child was here for portrait day. If your child was here, and you did NOT receive a portrait, check your junk folder, and if nothing is there, please let me know.
Retake day will be THIS MONDAY, October 6!! So if you would like retakes, no worries, just notify your teacher so that they can make sure they participate in that.

Yosemite!

Tomorrow morning we will load up. Plan on arriving to the school by 9:45 to load the vehicles. Remember a sack lunch for tomorrow. **There is forecasted a chance of rain Tuesday night** A poncho might be something to throw in. The good news is that we will be leaving Wednesday morning. Lows overnight of 50 and highs in the low 80s to mid 70s.

If possible pack in duffle (soft sided bags) it is easier to pack. Pillow and sleeping bag can be separate.

Chaperones and drivers. I just got the last phone number I was missing. I will put a group text together.

Drivers please have gas tanks full and if possible be at the school at 9:30 to assess the packing availability of each car and truck.

Just to clarify, Parent Orientation will not be this Sunday, Aug. 3, but Sunday, Aug. 17 at 6:30 PM. Enjoy the rest of your summer with your children!

Congrats 8th grade graduating class of 2025! We are so excited for tonight!

UJA Grades 6-9 Parents, Tomorrow afternoon, our new Grades 7-8 Homeroom teacher will be on campus to meet with staff and students. Mrs. Krystalynn Westbrook-Martin will be available to chat briefly after school at pick-up if you would like to. Mrs. Westbrook Martin will take over English instruction and Yearbook class for Grades 9-10 next year.

UJA Parents, Welcome to the last week of school! Here is some information about this week. - Tuesday and Wednesday will be normal days (but not hot lunch on Wednesday).. - Thursday will be an early dismissal day (12:15) with after-school care available starting at 12:30. The 8th-grade graduation will take place in the school courtyard at 6:30. - Friday is the last day of school. We will have a chapel to start the day, followed by some staff vs. student basketball. The remainder of the day will take place outside on the playground and on the field with games, activities, and a water fight. We will again have Sugar Mama Hawaiian Shave Ice for everyone. Lunch will be served at 11:00 by our fantastic parent volunteers. Parents are welcome to join the fun and share a meal with us all. Dismissal will be at 12:15 with pick-up on the playground (I will not be calling rides down to the parking lot). There will be no after-school care on the last day of school. Thank you again for a wonderful year, and the honor and privilege we have had teaching your children. God bless, Rick Nelson

Good afternoon school family! I apologize, I did not get it posted in the Grapevine, but as many of you have mentioned and asked. This coming Monday, May 12, is a HALF DAY. Kids will be ready for pick up at 12:15! Our teachers will be in a class that afternoon. There will be after school care starting at 12:30 that day! If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call!

Praise Group Reminder 7:40 tomorrow morning they are leading songs for chapel. 7Pm tomorrow evening at Ukiah SDA Church for sound check. That should take about an hour. Thank you, Mr. Kuntz

UJA Parents, This is just a reminder that our students will be singing for the church service this Saturday at the Ukiah Seventh-day Adventist Church at 1390 Laurel Ave. K-4 students should wear school attire or better. 5-10 should wear performance attire (Girls in blue performance dresses, Boys in white shirts and black pants). 5-10 students should arrive at 10:15. K-4 students should arrive at 10:30. The church service is from 11:00-12:00.
