7th/8th Grade Parents
We had a great time last Thursday night looking through telescopes and identifying stars and constellations but there are a few things missing.
Please look at what your child brought home. A family is missing the following: A Blue REÍ sleeping bag, black inside. In a large REÍ off white storage bag.
Still waiting to be claimed: a black and blue sleeping bag in a large LLBean white storage bag. a blue puffy jacket, black gloves, and a black foam sleeping pad.
Please contact me if you have the missing REI bag and sleeping bag OR if the other items still at school are yours.
Thank you,
Mr. Kuntz

7th and 8th grade parents:
Yes the rumors are true! You child should have brought home a bright blue flier 2 days ago with all of the information for tonights astronomy/star gazing wrap up to our space unit.
Yes there is school on Friday. It will be a regular school day.
Attached is the link to that flier.
It will be chilly. I recommend layers. Even a sleeping bag inside another bag. All of the information is in the flier.
You just need to drop them off with their stuff for the sleep out and for a regular school day on Friday.
This event is something that is talked about and remembered fondly for y ears to come.
They will need to point out galaxies to me this evening asa part of their grade.

Grades 9&10
Sunday, October 27 is fall festival and it will be here quickly.
I have one parent that has committed to times for running a booth. Please let me know the times you can run a booth. Being a small class we need all to participate to make this a successful event. There will be the Box Maze and Dunk Tank that grades 9/10 will be running and for those going on the mission trip there will be a table to sign people up for the BBQ Dinner. I will have detailed instructions for each booth.
There haven't been contributions for the sports basket yet so I have ordered some items via Amazon. There is still time to get stuff locally. I have ordered a baseball glove, a basketball, football, a table top ping-pong set and 49ers beanie and gloves. If you have something to add please send it with your child or $10 to put towards the items already purchased.
This is a busy time of year and I thank you for your help in making Fall Festival a success.

High school football parents- Please CHECK YOUR EMAIL for information regarding this weekend! It has information about what your kids should pack, when we are leaving, and the weekend schedule. Hope you can come support our team for some of the games. It’s going to be a fun time!

ATTENTION:
We have a potential game this Tuesday in Santa Rosa at Redwood Academy at 4pm but would need ALL of our players to make this happen. Please let Mr. Kuntz know first tomorrow morning if you can/can’t make it.
(We will have practice as usual tomorrow afternoon)
Thanks so much.

The forecast for Wednesday night with considerable cloudiness, about 80% cloud cover. We will postpone until October 24.
Thank you for understanding. I know the students are disappointed to have it moved back but we want to see the stars and planets.
Thank you,
Mr. Kuntz

Star Gazing Sleep Out is scheduled for this Wednesday night BUT it is supposed to be cloudy and that isn't good for looking at stars.
Do to phases of the moon we are likely to postpone until Thursday night October 24th.
Please watch for a final paper going home early this week, it is very likely to be postponed.
Call or text with any questions.
Mr. Kuntz

Good morning school family!
Yesterday I finished emailing out all the school portraits! If your child had their portrait taken, and you did not receive an email, let me know, and I can resend it.
If you would like to have your child do retakes, we will be doing those this Monday, October 7. So just make sure they are good to go and we will have their retakes done!
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
Happy Friday!

Good morning school family!
I do have the school portraits now, but it is a VERY tedious process as I have to personally email each and every portrait individually (They are around 11 MB a piece) So I am working my way down the list of emails and getting them out as I can.
You can expect to have your student's portraits at the LATEST by end of day tomorrow, and then from there you can decide if you want to do retakes. There is no charge for retakes, and will be available to anyone who wants their child to do them.
*These are large files to download, so it would be best to be on wifi if you have spotty reception*
Thank you for your patience!

Redding does NOT have mats or pads for night one. So a camping pad is needed. Please let me know if you do not have one. We have access to a handful of sleeping pads.
-Mr.Kuntz

Hi UJA football parents, **Non-football families please disregard**
Because there is no school on Monday, and we have a game coming up, we are planning to still practice. To avoid the heat, we are going to have practice in the morning at 9:45-11:15 on September 16. If anyone cannot make it and needs a ride, please reach out to me, or one of the teammates to carpool. If your kid cannot make it, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
Coach Liz, (707)972-6721

Hello 9/10 families! We are now leaving Healdsburg. See you all in about an hour!

Okay change of plans parents. So sorry for the last minute response.
It was going to be easier if we all go to Rio when Mr. Nelson goes to his board meeting and then come back when he is done. So we won’t be back on campus when school is out.
I will send another notification out when we are leaving Riolindo.
So sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 707-489-0910

Hello yearbook parents!
So after getting the schedule, it looks as though we are actually done on Tuesday September 10!
We will be back in time for their afternoon classes that day and can be picked up at normal time 3:15 at the end of the school day.
I apologize for the confusion!
