Rick has been an educator since 1988 when he and his wife, Debbie, took positions at a two-teacher school in San Luis Obispo County. Rick was the principal and 5-8 teacher while Debbie taught 1-4. Rick has been at 5 different schools in California, Nevada, and Oregon. Rick and his wife came to Ukiah in the summer of 2020. Rick loves the outdoors and enjoys trail running, backpacking, and spending time with his family. He feels a strong calling to share the love of God with the people around him. He wants UJA to be a safe place for students to grow, through grace, in the wisdom and knowledge of God and man.
