Debbie Nelson, Grade 1 Teacher

Debbie started out her teaching career in 1988 at a two teacher school. She taught the first four grades while her husband, Rick, taught grades five through eight. Over the years she has spent time teaching first grade, being a preschool director, substitute teaching and raising her own three children. She and her family moved to Ukiah in 2020 and she has gone back to teaching first grade. Debbie loves to spend time with her family and pets. She is happy to be at UJA and feels a strong calling to share the love of Jesus with her students.
