Krystalynn has been a pastor, educator, vice-principal, and mentor for over 25 years, serving in a variety of roles across California, Washington and Nevada. She is a certified English teacher, Religion teacher, a certified Trauma-Informed Coach, and holds certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid. Her teaching career has spanned Religion and Humanities, as well as mentoring young people in leadership roles, developing curriculum, and organizing multicultural and community events. She has mentored countless students, worked in conflict resolution, and presented at national education conventions. She is currently completing her doctorate with a focus on leadership, justice, and community building. Krystalynn brings a passion for hands-on learning, creating safe spaces for students to grow and thrive, believes in the power of collaboration, and loves to foster spaces of curiosity and student empowerment. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family and getting out in nature. She is committed to making UJA a place where every student is known, valued, and celebrated.
